View MenuHistory About Little Octopus in Nashville, Tennessee
Established in 2015. Little Octopus began as a POP-up Restauarant in the POP Nashville space on Gallatin in East Nashville and relocated to the Gulch in January of 2017. Founded and owned by Sarah & Brad Gavigan.
Sarah Gavigan began her culinary career at the age of 42 after relocating from Los Angeles to Nashville, simply because she missed Ramen. Real ramen. So she challenged herself to make it, and now she owns two restaurants. Otaku Ramen opened in December of 2015 and Little Octopus in January of 2017.
OUR NAME - The Little Octopus
In short, The Little Octopus is Sarah Gavigan, owner and Chef. A nickname given to her when she was young by her mentor for “always having her tentacles moving and always changing colors.” That notion formed who she is, a deep love of the animal itself and the ethos of the restaurant today.
